Costco Black Friday deals in Canada (2026): dates, and how to buy early without losing the sale

Costco Black Friday deals in Canada run around Friday, November 27, 2026, and neither Costco Canada nor the Canadian fan blogs had posted its 2026 Black Friday savings as of October 28, 2026. You do not have to wait for them: Costco refunds the difference when a price drops within 30 days of a warehouse purchase, so anything you buy from October 28, 2026 onward can still get the Black Friday price. We will add Costco's 2026 dates and the standout deals here when they are published.

When is Costco Black Friday 2026 in Canada?

Black Friday is Friday, November 27, 2026, and Cyber Monday is Monday, November 30. Costco Canada runs its Black Friday prices as member savings with set dates, like its regular flyer, rather than as a one-day sale. In 2025 it ran in two waves: early online deals were live on Costco.ca by November 18, and the Black Friday savings ran Monday, November 24 to Sunday, November 30, ending the day before Cyber Monday (Narcity; Cocowest). In 2024 the Black Friday week ran November 25 to December 1.

If Costco keeps the 2025 pattern, which it has not confirmed, expect early online deals around November 16 to 18, 2026 and a Black Friday week of Monday, November 23 to Sunday, November 29. That is our estimate from the last two years, not an announcement; we will replace it with Costco's dates when they are posted.

What did Costco Canada discount last Black Friday?

The biggest dollar savings in 2025 were on TVs, laptops and premium small appliances, the same pattern as 2024. Narcity described the 2025 warehouse savings as "up to $500 off". A sample of what Canadian outlets reported (advertised savings, not prices we checked, and not this year's offers):

Consoles were cut too: both PS5 bundles were $155 off from November 21 to December 17, 2025; see Costco PS5 and Switch 2 prices.

Apple was cut too: $100 off the iPad (A16), $150 off the iPad Air and $30 off AirPods Pro 2; see Costco AirPods, iPad and Apple Watch prices.

Dyson too: the V12 Detect Slim was $250 off and the Airwrap $200 off; see Costco Dyson prices and sales.

Mattresses broke the pattern: only the GhostBed Majestic was cut that week ($499.99 queen, $599.99 king), and the other models had their sales at other times of year; see when each Costco mattress goes on sale.

Holiday items run on their own clock. The first advent calendar clearance came on November 10, 2025, and Christmas trees weren't cut until December; see Costco advent calendars and Costco Christmas trees.

Groceries and household staples saw small savings (Kirkland K-Cups were $10 off), so Black Friday matters most if a TV, laptop or appliance is already on your list. Narcity also noted that "warehouse pricing may vary", so the same item could be priced differently in store and online.

Should you buy before Black Friday at Costco?

Yes, if it is something you would buy anyway. Costco's price adjustment policy gives you the difference back when the price drops within 30 days of a warehouse purchase, at the membership counter. Two conditions decide whether it works:

• The sale must still be running. Costco adjusts only within the promotion's dates, so claim during the Black Friday savings, not after.
• The item must be in stock. If the warehouse sells out, the adjustment is gone; demo units don't count.

Costco.ca orders work the same way through an online form, crediting the difference if the Costco.ca price drops within 30 days of your order. Costco.ca does not adjust to warehouse prices or to other retailers, and promotions such as Spend & Get may not qualify.

Are Costco Black Friday deals online or in the warehouse?

Both, item by item. Every Black Friday offer carries a label for where it applies, in the warehouse, online or both. In 2025 Narcity reported that some deals were in store only while others were also online, and that a few items cost more for delivery; Cocowest marked some, such as the LG 77-inch OLED, Costco.ca only. A price adjustment only works on the channel you bought from, so a TV bought on Costco.ca can't be adjusted to a warehouse price.

Is Costco open on Black Friday, and what are the hours?

Yes. Black Friday is not a holiday in Canada, and Costco.ca listed no special hours for it as of October 1, 2026, so expect regular Friday hours: 9:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. for warehouses and 6:00 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. for gas stations. Is a Costco Black Friday deal actually the best price?

Not automatically. Costco discounts big items outside Black Friday too: the September 28 to October 25, 2026 savings already took $500 off a Samsung 65-inch S85H OLED TV. The test is the price after savings against what the same model usually sells for, at Costco and elsewhere. The Costco flyer guide lists each period's standouts with their dates.

TVs are the biggest Black Friday category; see whether a Costco TV sale is a good deal. Costco's delivery doesn't mount the TV, so if a 75-inch is on your list, line up TV mounting before the box arrives.

Can you return a Costco Black Friday purchase?

Yes, under the usual Costco return policy. Most products have no time limit stated, but TVs, major appliances, computers, tablets, phones and other listed electronics must come back within 90 days: for a Black Friday purchase, by February 25, 2027. Gift cards, Shop Cards and gold bullion can't be returned under the guarantee.

Does Costco have a Black Friday membership deal?

How should you pay for Costco Black Friday purchases?

With a card that earns at Costco. The CIBC Costco Mastercard pays 2% back on Costco.ca and 1% in the warehouse, with no annual fee. Executive members also earn the 2% Executive reward on eligible purchases. On a $1,500 Costco.ca order, the card's 2% is $30 back.
