What are Costco's hours in Canada?

Do all Costco locations in Canada have the same hours?

Yes, on a normal day. We recorded the hours Costco.ca lists for all 113 Canadian locations on October 1, 2026, and every regular warehouse matched:

So "Costco hours near me" has the same answer in Red Deer, Stoney Creek and Toronto: if it's a regular day, your warehouse opens at 9:00 a.m. The 26 locations without a gas station are 20 warehouses and 6 Business Centres. Holidays are where locations differ, by province and sometimes by city; see the Costco Christmas hours guide. Each of the 113 has a page in our Costco locations directory with its address, gas station and hours.

What time does Costco gas open?

Costco gas stations open at 6:00 a.m. every day, three hours before the warehouse. They close at 9:30 p.m. on weekdays and 8:30 p.m. on weekends, one to one and a half hours after the warehouse. You need a Costco membership card and Mastercard, debit or a Costco Shop Card to buy gas; see our Costco gas page. Not every warehouse has a gas station.

Do Executive members get early hours at Costco in Canada?

No, not as of October 1, 2026. Costco.ca lists one set of hours for every member at Canadian warehouses, with no separate Executive hours. Costco introduced early shopping hours for Executive members at its U.S. warehouses in June 2025, which is why the question comes up. In Canada, Executive membership pays a 2% reward instead; see whether Executive is worth it.

Is Costco open on holidays in Canada?

Costco closes on many statutory holidays. Costco.ca lists warehouses and gas stations as closed on Thanksgiving, Monday, October 12, 2026. Each warehouse's Costco.ca page shows its next holiday closure, and provincial rules differ, so check your location before a holiday trip.

Do the pharmacy, optical and Tire Centre keep the same hours?

Not always. Costco.ca lists the pharmacy, optical, hearing aid centre and Tire Centre separately on each warehouse page, and their hours can start later or end earlier than the warehouse's. Check those on Costco.ca or call the warehouse before you go; for tires, see how the Costco Tire Centre works.
