Costco PS5 and Nintendo Switch 2 in Canada (2026): bundles, prices and when to buy

Costco PS5 bundles in Canada come with a second DualSense controller instead of a game: in Western Canadian warehouses on October 13, 2026, the digital bundle was $839.99 and the disc bundle $899.99. The Switch 2 Mario Kart World bundle, with 12 months of Nintendo Switch Online, was $779.99. Last Black Friday Costco cut $155 off both PS5 bundles, so if you're buying for the holidays, buy from October 28 and claim a price adjustment if it drops.

Does Costco sell the PS5 in Canada?

Yes, as a bundle. Every PS5 the Costco West fan blog photographed in Western Canadian warehouses from October 2025 to October 2026 came with an extra DualSense controller; we found no game bundles. The PS5 Pro appeared once, on Boxing Day 2025, at $919.99 after $130 off. Stock and prices in Ontario, Quebec and Atlantic Canada can differ.

How much is a PS5 at Costco Canada?

Prices rose through 2026 after Sony's Canadian price increase on April 2. Here's what Western Canadian warehouses charged for the PS5 with an extra controller:

Sony's own Canadian prices since April 2, 2026, as reported by MobileSyrup: $819.99 for the PS5, $749.99 for the Digital Edition and $1,099.99 for the PS5 Pro, up from $649.99, $579.99 and $959.99.

Is the Costco PS5 bundle a good deal?

Only if you want the second controller. Example, using Sony's prices and the $94 a DualSense cost at Costco before its $25-off sale in November 2025:

So the bundle is the console plus a controller at roughly full price. For a household with two players, that's fine; for one player, look for the console alone elsewhere, or wait: the real Costco discount comes at Black Friday, when last year's $155 off made the digital bundle $514.99.

Does Costco sell the Nintendo Switch 2?

Yes, as bundles with a year of Nintendo Switch Online. Costco.ca opened Switch 2 pre-orders early by mistake in April 2025, MobileSyrup reported, before the June 5, 2025 launch. In Western Canadian warehouses:

Nintendo raised the Canadian Switch 2 price from $629.99 to $679.99 on September 1, 2026, and its own Mario Kart World bundle is $749.99, so Costco's $779.99 bundle costs $30 more than Nintendo's and adds 12 months of Switch Online, which you'd otherwise pay for separately. In October 2026 a Barrie, Ontario warehouse cleared the 256 GB bundle at $599.97, one per member, which iPhone in Canada said wasn't confirmed elsewhere. We found no original Switch or Switch OLED at Western Canadian warehouses in 2025 or 2026.

Should you wait for Black Friday to buy a console at Costco?

You don't have to wait, but buy late enough to be covered. Costco refunds the difference if its price drops within 30 days of a warehouse purchase, while the sale runs and the item is in stock, so a console bought on or after October 28, 2026 can still get the Black Friday price. Last year the PS5 savings ran November 21 to December 17, 2025; see what Costco discounted last Black Friday and how price adjustments work.

Pay with a card that earns at Costco: the CIBC Costco Mastercard pays 1% in the warehouse and 2% on Costco.ca, so $17 back on an $840 bundle ordered online. When Costco runs a console offer, it appears in our flyer guide with its dates.

Can you return a PS5 or Switch to Costco?

Probably without a 90-day limit, but check your receipt. Costco Canada's return policy gives 90 days for TVs, major appliances, projectors, computers, cameras, drones, camcorders, digital music players, tablets, smart watches and cell phones, "plus other electronics Costco identifies from time to time"; game consoles aren't named, and we found no Canadian source confirming either way. Ask at the till or membership counter when you buy a gift. We also couldn't confirm that Costco extends the warranty on consoles, so plan on the manufacturer's.
