Costco advent calendar in Canada (2026): LEGO, Lindt, wine and what goes on clearance

The Costco advent calendar lineup for 2026 is smaller so far than last year's: by mid-October, Canadian warehouses had the LEGO calendar at $49.99, Lindt Teddy at $23.99, a wooden advent arch at $49.99 to $54.99, the Auzou Advent Romances book at $18.99 and, in Ontario, the 24 Days of Cheer wine calendar at $99.99. Prices are from shelf photos by the Costco West (Western Canada) and Costco East (Ontario and Atlantic) fan blogs. Our advice: buy chocolate and wine calendars when you see them, and wait on the toys.

Which advent calendars does Costco Canada have in 2026?

The LEGO box sign lists the three 2026 themes: Disney Princess (290 pieces), Star Wars (293) and Marvel (317). Not seen yet this year: the giant Lindt calendar, Bluey, Little People, the Naturally Vain beauty calendars, the Grinch cocoa set and the Pokemon calendar, which all appeared last fall, mostly by mid-October. We'll add them here when they show up.

What advent calendars did Costco sell last year?

The 2025 list, with what each did after it arrived:

When do Costco advent calendars go on sale?

Toys and beauty go on clearance in late November; chocolate and wine mostly don't. Last year the first .97 clearance prices, which vary by warehouse, came on November 10 (Little People), then November 21 (LEGO at $29.97) and November 28 (Naturally Vain). The LEGO calendar dropped again to $19.97 in some Ontario and Atlantic warehouses by December 1, the day the calendars start. The Lindt giant's only cut was $50 off until December 1.

So: buy a chocolate or wine calendar when you see it, since it may sell out rather than drop; for LEGO, waiting until late November saved about $19 to $29 last year, if your warehouse still had stock. Bought at full price and then it drops? Costco refunds the difference within 30 days while the sale runs; see Costco price adjustments.

Christmas trees come later, with their sale and clearance in December; see when Costco Christmas trees go on sale.

Which provinces get Costco's wine and beer advent calendars?

Only where Costco sells alcohol in the warehouse. Ontario Costcos have sold beer, wine and cider since October 31, 2024, and that's where the 24 Days of Cheer (VQA wines from Niagara) and J.P. Chenet calendars appear. In Quebec, Narcity reported a Domaine St-Basile wine calendar at $79.99 and an Unibroue beer advent box at $37.23 at Costco in November 2025. The Western Canada fan blog showed no alcohol calendars in 2025 or 2026, and we couldn't confirm Atlantic Canada.

Does Costco Canada sell a dog advent calendar?

Not in 2025 or so far in 2026, as far as the Canadian fan blogs show. The dog advent calendars you'll see online, such as a 24-piece Bark calendar at $39.99, were photographed at a U.S. Costco. Costco did recall a dog advent calendar in 2021, which is why older news stories still come up.

Can you return a Costco advent calendar?

Unopened, yes: calendars aren't on Costco's 90-day list, so the satisfaction guarantee applies; see Costco's return policy. Alcohol is the exception where provincial law prohibits returns. For the rest of the holiday shop, our flyer guide keeps the dated member savings.
