Costco patio furniture in Canada (2026): sets, fire tables, umbrellas, heaters and when they go on sale

Costco patio furniture in Canada costs $599.99 to $2,999.99 for a set, mostly from Agio and SunVilla, and the timing matters more than the model: the big sets take $400 to $600 off between March and June, and chairs, loungers and heaters clear at 50% to 70% off from late June to November. Every price below was photographed in a Canadian warehouse by the Costco West and Costco East fan blogs.

What patio furniture does Costco Canada sell?

Sectionals, conversation sets and dining sets, seen in Western (BC, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba) and Eastern (Ontario, Atlantic) warehouses. Prices are as posted and vary by region, often by $20 to $100:

Most sets ship in 2 or 3 boxes, so plan the trip home: a seating set with a fire table filled two boxes, and the Agio 5-piece chat set three (Costco East, Costco West). Many sets with "fire" in the name have a propane fire table built in, and the tank is a separate purchase.

What do Costco umbrellas, fire pits and patio heaters cost?

The SunVilla Oliver fire pit (55,000 BTU) dropped from $699.99 to $399.99 in June 2025, and the Ninja FireSide (80,000 BTU, a heater and fire pit in one) had $80 off in July 2026 (Costco West). Patio heaters come in two kinds: a 120-volt electric heater that plugs into an outdoor outlet, and a propane tower that needs a tank and open air. Both cleared in October 2025 at $99.97 in the East (Costco East).

When does Costco patio furniture go on sale?

• Late January to March: the first sets arrive. The SunVilla 5-piece seating set was in Western warehouses on January 24, 2025, and the East's seasonal aisle was already "daydreaming of the summer" by February 5 (Costco East).
• March to June: instant savings on the big sets, $400 to $600 at a time: $600 off the Agio set with fire table in March 2026, $500 off the Agio 4-piece in June 2025, $400 off the Agio chat set in May and June 2026. Umbrellas and egg chairs get $100 to $200 off in the same window.
• Late June to July: clearance begins on what's left, at prices ending in .97.
• September to November: the last chairs, deck boxes and heaters clear at 50% to 70% off, like the Capterra Adirondack chair at $99.97 in October 2026 (Costco West).

The best sets rarely make it to clearance, so if you want a particular sectional, buy it during the spring savings. If the price drops within 30 days of a warehouse purchase, ask for the difference at the membership counter while the new price runs; see Costco price adjustments. Waiting for clearance works for chairs, loungers, umbrellas and heaters, which Costco often still has in the fall.

What should you check before you buy patio furniture at Costco?

• The boxes: count them and check they fit your vehicle. Two or three boxes for a sectional can fill an SUV.
• Fire tables: check whether it runs on a 20 lb propane tank under the table, and leave room around it on a covered deck.
• Cushions and winter: in most of Canada, cushions come inside for the winter, and sets and umbrellas last longer stored or covered. Plan the space before you buy.
• The umbrella base: large and cantilever umbrellas need a heavy base, and some are sold without one.
• Both regions: prices and models differ between Western and Eastern warehouses, so a set seen online may not be at yours.

How much does it cost to assemble Costco patio furniture?

TaskRabbit puts assembling a patio or outdoor furniture set in Canada at $150 to $350, with furniture assembly starting at about $39 an hour on average (TaskRabbit). A dining set or a 3-piece set is an afternoon for one person; a sectional with a fire table in three boxes is easier with two. An independent local helper can pick it up from Costco, carry it to the backyard and put it together, for a price you agree: see patio furniture assembly. The same helper can store it for the winter.

Can you return patio furniture to Costco?

Yes. Patio furniture isn't one of the electronics and major appliances Costco limits to 90 days, so the general satisfaction guarantee covers it, with no time limit stated. A boxed sectional is a lot to bring back, so open every box and check the parts list on the day it comes home. Details are in the Costco return policy.
