Costco coupons and promo codes in Canada (2026): what actually exists

Costco coupons in Canada work differently from a grocery store's: there is nothing to clip. Costco's monthly member savings come off automatically at the register, Executive members get an extra coupon book whose discounts are now applied automatically too, and the only Costco.ca promo codes reported in 2026 were for new memberships, such as COSTCO100 and COSTCO50 until August 30, 2026. Most "Costco promo code" sites list sales, not working codes. The ways that do cut your bill are below.

Does Costco have coupons in Canada?

Yes, but you don't bring them. Costco's member savings, the "flyer", run in 2- and 4-week periods and the discount comes off at the till: as Narcity put it in June 2026, "you don't need an actual coupon to get the deals." Is there a Costco.ca promo code?

Only for joining. Costco.ca has a promo code box, but the codes Canadian outlets reported in 2025 and 2026 were for buying a new membership online, and each gave an online voucher for a later Costco.ca order rather than money off the membership:

The vouchers were for Costco.ca only: not in warehouses or on same-day delivery, and not on gift cards, travel, tires or membership fees. We found no new-member code reported for October 2026. Existing members don't get product promo codes; for renewals, see whether there is a renewal promo code.

How do Costco Executive coupons work?

Executive members get a separate coupon book in the mail, with deals Gold Star and Business members can't use. Narcity and Daily Hive reported in May 2026 that Costco now applies the discounts automatically at the register for Executive members; before that, members scanned the coupons or showed them on their phone. If yours don't arrive, Costco tells Executive members to visit the membership counter.

Does Costco accept manufacturer coupons or price match?

No to both. Costco's policy, as quoted by MapleMoney: "Costco Wholesale does not accept general manufacturer coupons" and "We also do not price match." Brands do fund some Costco offers instead: Procter & Gamble ran a Spend & Get at Costco Canada from June 8 to July 5, 2026, giving a digital Costco Shop Card of up to $125 for spending on its products, claimed online afterwards.

What Costco does is match its own lower price: if an item you bought goes on sale within 30 days, the membership counter refunds the difference while the offer runs and the item is in stock. See the Costco price adjustment policy.

Which Costco membership offers come with a voucher or Shop Card?

These are the offers that most resemble a coupon, and they come and go:

• New-member codes on Costco.ca (above): an online voucher worth up to the membership fee, on a minimum order.
• Groupon: in July 2026, Groupon Canada sold a membership with a $50 digital Costco Shop Card, for new members or those without a membership in the past 12 months.
• Refer a Friend: in late 2025, both members got a $50 online voucher (Executive, on a $200 order) or $25 (Gold Star, on $125), plus a $10 Shop Card each.
• Auto-renew: members who turned on auto-renew for the first time from September 28 to October 16, 2026 got a $25 online voucher.

Are Costco coupon sites worth using?

Rarely. Sites that promise "Costco promo codes" mostly list sale items, expired membership offers (some from 2021), or offers you can find on Costco.ca. DealNews, a U.S. deals site, says Costco "rarely issues universal, sitewide promo codes", and that matches what we found in Canada. Use them to spot a sale, then check the dates on Costco.ca; never pay for a "code".
