On top of the tires you pay a provincial recycling fee of roughly $3 to $7 a tire, a TPMS service pack if your car has pressure sensors, and sales tax. Our advice: buy during a brand offer, which takes $60 to $100 off a set of 4, and compare installed totals, not tire prices.

Possibly. Many newer cars have a tire pressure sensor in each wheel, and Costco's tire site says TPMS service pack fees may apply: new seals and parts so the sensor stays sealed to the wheel. New sensors, if one fails, cost more. Ask for the TPMS charge when you book, so the total has no surprises.
